I don't even no if its the graphics that excites peole, so much as its the "Somrthing new" feel of it. Even if the graphics were worse I stil probably would get it because all I see is new experiences ahead of me.

The graphics wouldn't be all that much better compared to PSO because all the screenshot's you have seen are from the PlayStation2 version (Or maybe PC if you've seen BETA screenshots). Compare how large and how much gameplay is in PSU in comparison to PSO, and for that to be made available on PS2, the graphics are IMO probs as good as you'd get on this platform. Xbox360's version of Universe though will see an improvement in graphics and i'd expect that version to be quite magical!

It really depends on whether Sonic Team enable Xbox Live & SEGA server sharing. If yes, Xbox360. If no... maybe Xbox360, but probabily PC!

Yeah... It sure seems that way

Althought the texturing and models to some degree may look similar that's down to style. If you look at things like polygon counts I think you'll be pleasantly suprised. Also, look at the surroundings and effects, they're nothing to sniff at.
