"Fixing" the HU/RA classes would require a major overhaul of the game's design, which ST was not willing to do. It would practically have been a different game. Not that I wouldn't support the change, but I can see where ST was coming from.

RA superior to HU in melee? I think not. Not with your weps, anyway. With enough hit (as you show), HUs can, for all intents and purposes, match RAs in accuracy... and from there, it's all about the power. My RAmarl uses a berserk S-Twin and a 20 hit Umbrella, and doesn't outdamage anyone else (except newbies/lowlevels).

They didn't have any issue changing the game to allow RAs to use Partisans in PSOGC, did they? No.

RA superior to HU in melee? Take a Berserk Twin on a RAmar and compare it to a HUcast with a percentless BKB: The RAmar is capable of far higher damage by use of Berserk.

This has always been the thing that confused the hell out of me with uberism: when you're already at the top, where else do you have to go? :S

You cannot reach the top, but that doesn't stop anyone trying damn well hard. I only knew one person who got close to it: Delusion.

But on a serious note of character improvements...
1) What is that Beserk Raygun for on WTF U SUX? I have never seen him use it. More importantly, what would it take to get it off your hands?
2) The slots on both your characters could use some improvement, which you only get with leveling. Cure/Stuff is good; Confuse and Shock in particular.
3) On the Ramar, get a better mag than Kama. I would suggest either Sato or Nidra, but that would require you to make 12/150/38/0 stats (what my Ramar uses)... slightly worse, but with better specials. That's up to your preferences though. Maybe a mag cell mag would have some decent specials and stats; most websites do not list their specials, so I do not know.
4) Raise a Nidra for WTF. The Rati would only be more usefull for soloing since you can try to live off that weak special S/D for a while before the PB.
5) Get a Demon's Needle for U R a n00b.
6) Try getting some Spirit Vulcans for the Ramar too. >.> I know you don't really like it because it isn't unlimited, but it does only drain 20% of the TP, which is less than Beserk, and you can carry 10 Difluids and Trifluids. Along with Monofluids and Difluids on the ground, that can get you very far.

You're correct. This is why I'm making some attempt to find a Sato that matches my character. >__>

It does.

But it's pointless to try to be the "best", because that is purely subjective(Unless you purposely use bad weapons). I've seen people use otherwise bad equipment, compared to "the best" and still kill better, and play as a team better than a lot of people.

It's a lot more than being able to do lots of damage. For that, you would just take a Vjaya with 100 native, on a HUcast with max ATP, 81S and 30Z and slash a booma with the special. It's being able to use your weapons, and play as a team.

Have a team of 3 RAs spam berserk weapons is bad, having a team of 3 RAs spamming demon's is worse. Just because you have good equipment, doesn't make you good. A lot of people seem to forget that.

edit: Although this isn't directed at anyone, or completely on topic. It needed to be said, "best" is stupid. Cause PSO is just a game.

I believe in efficiency, not imposing silly "lol ur a n00b" rules. ST allowed HUcast to use mechguns, and I will use mechguns if they allow me to be more efficient.

The purpose of my HU is to be efficient, not to dance around with a black stick to "look cool".

You should be reminded that being efficient means being good in a team, unless you solo 100% of the time.

I never used mechs on my Hunters and I'm sure I'm a lot more efficient than any mechgun-using Hunter.
I used Red Mechgun, S-Rank Mechgun or Guld Milla over Yas9k precisely because thay are vastly more efficient.

If you cannot accept good advice from much more experienced players because it goes against your self-imposed rules, I suggest you take your attitude elsewhere.
