360 Beta This "Weekend"

I noticed that it says the Guardian's license was available NOV 24, hopefully that's because the first month will be free online so no one will need it until November. The game is still coming out Oct 24th in the US, right?

It actually says on Sega's site that you need a Gold Account to play the beta, not sure if the full version will be the same or not. If you have a silver account it won't let you download it at all. I have gold and silver so I checked it out. I played PSU for a few hours today and I do not like it. I own every console version of PSO made and still play the GC and DC versions (offline only at this point) but PSU is not for me. I did not like the whole feel of the game. I'll not be buying PSU as I just don't like the online mode and the offline mode is now like all the other RPG's out there where you have to play a story character. The way the single player was done in PSO is what I really like about PSO. I stopped playing PSO online when it went to pay (PSO V2 on Dreamcast) as I'll not pay to get my character hacked. :|

I knew about that but i wanted to test out the beta for xbox to see if i like the Xbox better than the PC.

I played it today, not for too long, and I must say its still a little crappy I hope its the beta but often lag like crazy. The aiming with a pistol is very hard and well I havent played very long yet, but no offline multiplayer = no buy for me.

I got WoW its best of all mmorpg's, so basicly I want this to play with 3 friends offline and have fun, that isnt possible. Then I'll just buy a Wii.

No online fee would be a reason to buy it, or mp offline, both arent there so thats sad.

I'll post some more about the game itself when I played it a little longer.

Edit: BTW, forgot to tell you but the graphics arent good at all, far from it even. This is how GC gfx were. This isnt next-gen.

Remember to consider the game was also made with the PS2 in mind, therefore the lesser GFX quality on the PC/360.

If they were to overhaul the entire game for the 360 alone, we probably wouldn't see the game until sometime next year.

Very true but still the game has style - high polygon count isn't everything

Look at the likes of WoW vs. EQ2 - WoW has the style, and EQ2 has the high counts. I know which I prefer for all round gameplay

I don't even find that WoW is any good graphic wise and game wise. I find PSU is alot better.
