like sword weilding solders cuting down people with rifels who could just pick them off one by one, ther's no way swords could beat rifels in real life.that and the guy who used fire with his sword. but it still was cool.

This obviously coming from someone who isn't a swordsman, if it's a handgun or rifle being fired at you, it can easily be blocked by a sword. A sword is solid metal, last time I checked, bullets can't pierce metal because they ARE metal (unless they're AP rounds, but those couldn't be coming out of the rifles in the time frame of Inyuasha). If you have some distance between you, you can clearly see where your opponent is aiming and block it, then charge, scare the shit out of them, get too close for them to aim well, and cut them down. Not too difficult in the end now is it?

oh yeah like u could really cut down someone w/ an ozazi, or bazzoka. maybe a hand gun but most rifel users can adjust fast enough to blow u a way. mabye in olden times when guns weren't all that acurate but now? I don't think so.

Keep in mind Inuyasha takes place in the "Feudal Era" of Japan, there weren't any rifles, though it would be cool to see someone blow away Naraku with one.

Yes Kal, I even specified that I meant during Inyu's time. I assume by Ozazi you mean Uzi? If so then of course, I could never get by someone with one of those. A handgun, definitely; a rifle, most likely (unless it has AP-Armor Piercing-ammo, then it would pierce my sword, besides what you say is wrong, it's easier for a handgun user to adjust faster than a rifle user); a bazooka, probably (All they needed to do was miss once and then they're stuck reloading, bazooka blasts aren't huge either, I would just have to jump away and I'd get blown forward but I wouldn't die). In any case, this is a pointless argument to hold here, it is better suited for my weaponary thread, hopefully Sd continues to watch/enjoy Inyuasha (there, I made it more on topic).
