PSO is fiercely addictive... no arguments there. I usually get a tad bored, and quit for a month, or maybe just a few weeks, but I always come back. I don't know why.. offline, the game kills me a bit. I'm all alone, just wandering through areas blowing monsters to shit for the sake of it. I can't quit. Maybe there's some type of subliminal messaging in there that just... messes with us. Maybe it is the rare red box.. but I get tons of rares, just no cool ones. It might be the level up, or the search for higher tech disks... I don't know why I keep playing.

i have to admit i got bored of but i always have an urge to make a new "cool" char. but once i get to caves *yawn* i turn it off.

Its like taking drugs in the way you are totally addicted to it 24/7, but then it wears off, unlike drugs. Maybe ST need to take it to the next level? I hope they will in PSU. BB looks cool to.

Seriously? I can't believe I'm addicted to something worse than drugs. :'( It's not wearing off. Other people tell me I'm addicted, but I never believed them. Too addictive even without the red boxes. And this isn't even a proper MMORPG.

Haha, tell me about it.
I don't think you have to worry, Mirinee, I have over 6000 hours at PSO EpI&II, and still loving it, and still playing it.
I find "proper" MMORPGs terrible, PSO has something special, no other online game has it.

It is very addictive, I can play it then not play it, but i will sometimes have a huge break from it then go play it for ages again, its just weird

I would have to agree with you Kefka....this game is addicting but yet...doesn't get boring for me.....

Doesnt get boring for me, there will be just a period where i dont play it for some reason

As far as I know pso is the only game with so much depth in item finding, which is what does it for me, and the amount of leveling involved
