I may not be the best person to comment on love (i'm 17 and a guy lol)
but to me true love is a flawed consept...
If you believe in true love then my definition you can only love one person romanticly, and what if someone happens to them. If true love exists then if you can ever get over a lost love it means you havn't yet found the person you were 'destined' to meet...
What if this happens when you were say 50 and you got married when you were 18...you would have waisted your life with someone who wasn't your true love.
Losing someone you love is hard, trust me, but it should never be the end

i'll have to agree talex :p but althoughthe theory itself is, lets face it, farfetched. for now, i'd like to believe it, and i'd like to believe that i've found the one i'm destined to be with.

true love seems an optimistic's take on it, one day you will meet the one you are meant to be with, and live happily ever after. theres no problems or anything written into that, reality shows us that everyday can very well be riddled with problems.
not that optimistic people don't live in reality, I'm often told i run on nothing but optimism, although i'm also told i live in a dream world Oo;
