Tales of Symphonia (spoiler warning)
#31
I thought it was absolutely incredible. Great battle system, monster and character design, challenging puzzles, perfectly put together storyline and shocking plot twists, and just an overall great game. I loved it, and have beaten it 4 times, and I'm working on my 5th run through. I think it's the best Gamecube game ever, if not THE best game of all time. I can't wait for the sequel! Don't screw it up, Nintendo!

Well ToS does have an interesting story, some cliffhangers, and a bit of drama. The battle system is one of the highlights of the best parts of the game. The voice acting was abit odd but over time you get used to it. The multiple endings are a much welcomed addition to any RPG.

Wow, I'm in shock! I just fought Abyssion in mania mode. It was INSANE! It took me about an hour, and my only healing items at the end of the battle were 4 apple gels. It was an amazing battle, and his indignation judgment attacks were getting annoying. Haha, 240,000 HP is a lot! I'm awesome! Big Grin

No, kid I'm sorry, but you're mistaken and pretty ignorant to say it's the best game of all time. It's only decent as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't touch the Golden Sun games by far, and sure as hell isn't even in the same class as Ocarina of Time or Chrono Trigger. You need to play some more games before you start saying that. SSBM was a much better game. ToS got old after a while.

Again, it was passable, as far as the combat system goes, yeah, it was cool. But it was a real time system, others have done them before and others have done them much better *cough*FFXII*cough*

ToS may not be the best RPG out there but you can't tell me that it's not one of the best RPGs on the Gamecube. Of my top 10 list of must have RPGs on the Gamecube ToS makes #5. Given that majority of the titles on my list are either from PSO or LoZ.

Yeah, you're probably right. I should've worded that differently. Sorry. Not the best game ever, just one of my favorites. Ocarina of Time...How did I not think of that?! That was pretty damn stupid of me. Fine, Tales of Symphonia is in my top ten favorite games ever, while Ocarina of Time is my favorite. Melee was excellent too, but not as good as ToS.

Also, have you played Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles? It's one of my favorites, and I've beaten the game on 4 different files. I love it! It makes my top ten favorite games. Smile

Wait-did you just say Golden Sun? No offense, but I hate those games. I beat the first and got to the last level on the second, and thought they both were terrible. To say they're better than Tales of Symphonia is the most bizarre and rediculous thing I've ever heard.
