i on ultimate have a bit of a problem to hit the criatures, the only weapon that i have that can hit, or even do a hard/hard/hard with no chances of missing is my imperial pick.
but this weapon can only be obtain on ruins,and it is hunters only (since hunters are the ones that need ata)
on gc
ATP: + 280-300
ATA: + 41
Max Grinder: 9
on ver.2
ATP: + 570-620
ATA: + 234
Max Grinder: 20
not bad.....+234 ata

On ultimate the monsters are just too evasive I have to level up my character more before I can hope to beat it.

Version 2 is not my favorite but the DC versions of PSO are my favorite. The GC version just seems too easy and Ep. II I find kinda lame. I was playing a legit lvl 50 on PSO V.1 just the other day. Taking a little break from Oblivion right now.

not quite, finding weapons like the red saber or the red handgun help alot

The red saber and red handgun are in version 2? Are they in the forest just like in the gamecube version?

yes in the forest, those are the common weapons that help you beat ultimate criatures since the weapons that you have will only make a scratch, if you find those with 30/40 % then the game will turn easy
