So does the japanese version have an english option or will I have to import it from USA?

Yes. It should have an English option. But you will need to get a seperate Hunter's Lisence. They use Web Money or something over there to buy their HL. I think it works like Etop-up cards like in England for mobiles. But I think you can use your credit card to buy one online yourself. Whatever. I'm still going to get it and just play, even if I can't get online. I've been waiting for this

Um. Well..I dont know, you just said that the japanese version of PSO should have an english option, the store that I am going to has it imported from japan, it isnt out in USA till some time next year, and I CANNOT wait that long. So just get it from Japan I guess. I am just lucky theres a place like chinatown that I live near, VERY easy to access anime, among other japanese/Chinese Imports.

If you have to go onto Japanese websites to buy this top up thing, then youd surely have to know Japanese to buy the online money?! But anyways, like decs said, itd still easily be worth it just to play offline!

Sweet, 22 days until I get Episode 3.
In any case, PSO Episode 3 uses your old hunters license from EP 1 and 2 to play online. All you may have trouble doing is setting your network option, which I am sure, in time, I will be able to figure out. PSO Ep 3 also uses your old guild card file, so that you can talk to friends from before on the new game. So my chances of getting online are pretty high, once I save up enough to buy my own gamecube, so I can play it in secret, since my mom always takes the other one because shes an idiot.

Yes you can use your old lisence, but we all use a different method for lisences. Japanese use Web Money thingy, EU use PlaySega and US use Sega.com but I think US lisence is 3 months, EU 1 month, and JP is three months. So you will probably have to get a new lisence from Japan.

hm. I guess if thats the case, it somewhat decreases my chances of gettingo online with it, otherwise, I will just get rid of my old hunters license and make a new one for EP 3, I have gotten kinda bored of it anyway..MY friend has the imported version, I will just ask her about how she got online.
