I just can't wait to see how badly PSU will be [censored] in on the PS2, the AR is more popular on the PS2 than on any other format.

I'm guessing PSU wasn't designed for the GC/NR because:

1. GC owners have put up with enough cr*p from Sega and know better.
2. GC owners have heard so many empty promises from Sega it's not like it matters.
3. PS2 zealots have a lower mentality, (PS2 owners harp on about Nintendo being kiddy, yet most PS2 zealots are kids, kind of making them all hippicrits).
4. PC zealots buy anything RPG related, hence why BG and NWN are so popular, (and yes, I do play NWN on occasion).

I will probably be getting PSU, (and I already know Sega are gonna' be tightwads and make me pay for another HL), but after seeing it at E3 I ain't too excited about it, and also I'm not exactly gonna' whinge about it when they keep putting the EU release date back.

That's quite an accusing account of how things work, Scott. I for one like ST's games, they aren't great at dealing with MMOs it's true but their other games have been pretty good.

I play the PS2 anyway, and as far as I am concerned the PS2 gaming community is muc like any other.

I play my PC a fair bit to (FFXI).

You just can't generalise like that...

If you're not excited about something, don't buy it! Simple.

Rash, but true, and I can generalise them anyway I want, they wan't my £5.99 a month, and that of many others.

This is proof, that most of us here are stupid, we're gonna' get the next PSO, and we're gonna' pay the HL, and well all know Sega ain't gonna' do squat to moderate it, even if they put player/mods in the next game, half of them will be corrupt.

I still play PSO because I have to drive to know that none of those cheating scumbags had what I have, honour and respect for the game, because of the other people, (yes, I do have respect for Sega, but they need to get their rear-ends in gear).

FF11 is even worse, they have the cheek to charge you to play the Tetra Master game, and also an additional £1 for each character you use, there are people on PSO with over a dozen characters, if they don'e the same thing, an average PSO bill would be like £20 per month, in 2 months, you would've bought the game out again....

I say make the games host-side, with customisable features such as booting commands and such, and make the game F2P.

If you have the time to raise more than one FFXI character, I am envious. Also, you don't have to pay for tetra master, and I don't. It's so stupid...
