Heeeeello there.

I'm a huge PSO fan and a pretty avid programmer, and I can probably help the PSO community if i could get a "yay or nay" on this idea. I'm going to make a sort of "PSO boot disk" for Dreamcast and Xbox (GCN if i can get a flatdisk CD-R like they're made.) This disk will include:

* Hacking protection at its finest - all items, quests and every piece of meseta are quadruple-checked (0.0023 second slowdown to standard online game)

* MAG viewer and trader (hopefully) without starting the game (need to have the Xbox version ONLY for that one.)

* Tons of pre-created character lookalikes that can be directly loaded into a memory card\HD and saved

* Symbol Chat hack (1,233 symbols possible) with 43 new, preloaded symbols

* Mass downloading (yeah..!) of Symbols

If there's about 99.9999999999999999% support, it might motivate me to actually complete this. So, tell me what u think!

erm... How are you going to do this? The Xbox I can understand because it is comparitively easy to get past the security. But what about Gamecube? How are you going to provide hacking protection, and item checking? Is it going to be Action Replay/Freeloader style load values into memory sort of thing?

I'd say go for it, but I think it will be a hard task to do. Maybe after I have learnt Java....... lol

Seems like total rubbish if you ask me.

For one you would need a mod chip to even run anything like that on an XB, and you cannot connect to XBL (To play PSOX online) with a mod chip enabled.

I want to be a tester plz. I can look for bugs and thats sorta stuff. also try and get new weps from the GC and Xbox version on to the dreamcast!

That idea i dont think will work because I think pso may ban you for it maybe you should make it and send it in to them.

I can't do it.

Hate to disappoint you all, but I have my reasons.

1) I contacted Sonicteam and I found out that i would actually
recieve FAR more than banning. I think you can guess that one.

2) I just don't have enough free time for the console versions.

However, if any type of PSO is fully released for the PC, i can get a license (i asked) to make ***non-hack*** managers and 3rd party software for the game. And i will.

SO, sorry to all of you that i just completely bashed.
