can a person with an x-box meet online with a person on gc..?
playing PSO...
this question is not from me...
but to prove a friend that they can...

I belive X-boxers can interact with GCers but I'm on a big wiz at online. I know a hell of a lot about it but the problem with me is, I've never been online and I don't plan to regaurdless of how great and amazing it is. I don't want to risk my character....But anyway, I've come to this conclution out of commen sense. Just to lettcha know.

Hey, come on, I was just trying to help. And I thought since its ONLINE and thats the games main purpose, then all systems would be able to interact. Plus, I posted that at like, 12:00 midnight, somethings BOUND to be wrong.

no two different systems can play online together..?
i think it would cost sonic team less money to make them all on one huge server or something...

To answer this officially, no you cannot play together online on different consoles. A person playing PSO on a Gamecube cannot play with a person playing PSO on an Xbox because all the servers are different and the games are technically different.

As a confirmation, no two different systems can play online PSO together.

In theory it's possible between something like the X-box and the P.C. or the PS2 and P.C. (with FFXI). It's possible because with the PS2 to play FFXI you have to buy the hard drive. PC's come with hardrives, and the X-Box has a hard drive. But between the X-Box and Gamecube, no.
