Sato color changes?

I hear there are "Sato color changes". I am guessing it randomly changes everytime it evolves. Say I get a mag to 100, its a Sato, it will be this color. Then I soft reset, and do the process over. Will it become the same color again? Also, how do you soft-reset.

It color-changes?? I thought it just became the entire color that you started with. Bleh, don't tell me I went to the trouble of creating a dark-green mag for nothing...! :ermm:
