I want to know too!
Also do you know what Hunter weapons can be boosted, the only ones I know of are ranger Special weapons.

Photon Boosters are only available online by trading photon drops in the gallon's shop quest. Here's the link to the trade-in guide: http://www.ragol.co.uk/guides/EplVlFZVEkMOqDFddf.shtml
All they can be used for is to combine with either the Flame Visit, Frozen Shooter, Panzer Faust or Maser Beam to make the stronger variation of each (Burning Visit, Snow Queen, Power Maser or Iron Faust). That's all they're good for.

I guess you won't be getting a photon booster anytime in the near future. But maybe by the time you find 45 photon drops and one of the listed weapons you might have online. You know what they say: A little optimism never hurt anybody, right?
