I love Gundam Wing and Mobile Fighter G Gundam. I never was able to get into Gundam Seed too much though.

Most of them follow a set storyline along a timeline of events, I think. But Gundam Wing and G Gundam are kinda Alternate universe ones. But to me, each one seems different and a lil confusing, unless you just sit down and watch them. I have a friend though, who's obsessed with all things Gundam in the world...

From what I know, my sister and I being big gundam fans:

Alot of the original gundam series take place in one time-line and I beleive that Gundam wing was the last series of that original series. Alot of the original had the whole federation (earth) vs. Zion (colonies). Also, newtypes are in this series

I know nothing about the alternate universe gundam series

G Gundam i think is one of it's own (completly original), I was a fan of the show when it was on Cartoon network.

Then the newest series is the Gundam seed series. I watch a good portion of the series and it is truly a great show, one of the best shows I have ever seen . Seed takes place in a new universe and it is now in it's 2nd series: Gundam Seed Destiny (1st series is 52 ep, 2nd is still running and at ep. 25, planned to end at 58 ep.)

Here's a link to a good Gundam site: http://www.gundams.net

Check it out and if you need any more info, PM me

Yeah, most of them follow a set timeline, though my friend, who's a wlaking encyclopedia of all things Gundam, told me once, I believe, that Gundam Wing was slightly AU as well. I'm not sure. G Gundam is definately AU though. I love Gundam Wing and G Gundam, but for some reason, I can't stand Gundam Seed *shrugs*

Well, I became a big fan when Seed neared it's end. That's when the show got good. And besides, Seed Destiny is very good too. I think Destiny is better but everyone has their opinions on what's better. my sister says Wing and seed (destiny) are her favorites while mine are G and Destiny.

I can't deny that Seed has gorgeous animation, and it looks pretty good, I've just never been able to get into it for some reason. My friend ent me the series and I watched the first 15 episodes and I couldn't get into it. Soemone told me though it doesn't pick up until later on, so I don't know...
