Yes. No machine can translate Japanese->English or vice versa, or any other languages perfectly. It just lets you run Japanese or American games on an EU/PAL machine. Most people got one when they imported Animal Crossing because Nintendo said that it wasn't going to be released here. Stupid Nintendo of Europe. They lost tons of money by not doing that soon/sooner.

EDIT: Seeing as noone has posted after me yet, might as well edit this.

Just ordered PSO 3 from Japan. Should get it first week of December ^ ^v. Just hope my version of Freeloader works with it =/.

Oh.. I see..Damn, and I wanted a translated EP 3...Hey, wait..will it be like the the english PSO, and you can change the text setting? If so,t hen I actually will buy it, and just change the text into english! You do it first, decswxaqz XD

You could look for a code to do that. Or you mabye be able to change language at the options screen (as you can change the text to JPN in english Version, I bet the Japs can do the same).

The japaneese version of GC Zelda had a code to change it to english text on the Action replay. Mabye they might put out a code to do that. Highly doubt that though

Actually, there is a code to make EP 3 partly english, on the AR. but It will only be PARTIALLY english, so it is kinda going to be crappily translated, like Breath of Fire 2. XD maybe, when decs gets the game, hell be able to find out if you can change the language setting to english in the options menu. WERE COUNTING ON YOU DECS. Or ar least I am.

I can read Japanese just not understand it lol =/ Besides, Japanese PSO comes with an English option. It always has for the PSO series. But even if it doesn't, I should still be able to play. They always use 'our' words to describe things. Replace "sword" with "soodo/ƒ\[ƒh" from the top of my head. Dead easy :p

Yeah, my birthday is on december 12th, and there arent many things that I want for presents, so I will just list EP3 as an import. Thanks for the info decs, im sure that I will get it now, so well, I guess I am going to get the game alot earlier than I thought! when does it release in japan anyway? I have heard like...November 27th. Before I ask for it on my birthday, I am going to go to chinatown and check if they have imported it. However, my mom is an idiot, and she took my gamecube, once again, so maybe I will just save up for about 5 weeks and wait till I have enough money to bu myself a gamecube that I will use in secret, along with EP 3 and a freeloader. Hm. Maybe.
