Is't GDV Gal Da Val the same as CCA?

No, CCA is just the area with the violet fog and the warp to the Gryphon. GDV is Seaside, Mountain, Jungle North and East and CCA.

Well, it's already been said, but I'd just do West Tower quest if you have plus. Most Gi Gues you can ever get offline (and I have yet to go through a run of VHard tower, with any of my characters, without getting at least one rare item).

GDV island is the term for the whole general area, the CCA is the specific path to gal gryphon
