The Gaurdianna isn't all that great, but it is cool looking and hard to find, congrats  . You definitely should postpone the Kasami Bracer hunt untill you get the Spread Needle or something better. To level up, you should do SoaB (forest half), it's easy to do and its about 55,000 exp. To unlock SoaB, you need to beat the first 3 quests, Addicting Food, The Lost Bride, The Grave's Butler, and Secret Delivery. Good luck.
Very easy drop, for me and its a 1/1050, those are the easy drops. I hear its really good for FOmars any reason? I am beat Ruins 1-2 got nothing besides another Mahu from a Claw 1/213.

I often tackle drops around that like ;K14 Combat/Cross Scar from Mothvert, Inferno Bazooka Barble and just now the Guardianna. I am actually think of doing Soul of Steal over and over until I get Baranz Parts. Worth getting?

Well, I think it might just me an easy hunt. And it uses charge as a special, my meseta in full in the bank, I do not have one Shot rare.
EDIT: How do I unlock Soul of Steel? I beat Doc's Secret Plan, no Soul of Steel.

Do some more Mines quests, if you haven't already done Knowing One's Heart and Unsealed Door. Failing that, try finishing some Caves quests you haven't done.
