oh well, maybe its time to invest in a PS2 Tongue. I don't really care since PS2 is unrivaled in the RPG area when it comes to consoles Tongue.

1. wait till ps2 goes to $100
2. or...wait till ps3 comes out

what guys are saying is true but the tales of series already has a huge playstation fan base so they decided to stick with that . I would also like to point out that playstaion have stolen quite a few sucess full rpg series from ninty such as star ocean and of course final fantasy they allways have and will take good games from ninty because ps2 has a higher fan base .

also tales of eternia isnt a new game or a remake its a direct port of the playstaion version of the same name also know as tales of detiny 2 to you americans. finally the games that were mentioned have not been confirmed as playstation only so we have a slim chance of seing them on cube or ds and even less of a chance to see them realsed any where out side of japan.

The thing is though, The Tales series has not sold very well on PS/PS2. I heard the latest one, Tales of Rebirth is selling pretty poorly in Japan, and Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2 did not really set the charts alight. Tales are old school style RPGS, and sadly, while they are refreshing in a world of glitzy Final Fantasies, they often get eaten alive by flashy polygons and eye yum-yum. Tales of Symphonia sold a lot I hear, and has earned itself a large fan base. So now there are tons of Cubes hungry for more, and PS2, where the series is a wallflower. Do they want to make the series be snapped up eagerly worldwide (practicly everyone I meet online says Tales is their favorite game or at least RPG on Cube), or do they just want their series to sell average quantities at best in Japan?
