Lets start this out with all of you viewing this eBay auction.

Look at it, and you'll see that he has duplicates of most the rares weapons in the game, and he says the duplicates have percents over 90, and he also says he is offline. If you closely inspect the section near the bottom, under "ETC" you see he has a PGF! That item is clearly a hack, and with the loads of rares with uber high %'s for only $29.99 ($20 for the memory card, $9.99 for the rares) it is undoubted that he is a hacker. Hacking items is also in violation of the Terms of Service in the instruction booklet under "YOU SHALL NOT:" bullet number 6.

YOU SHALL NOT:..... Reverse engineer, derive source code, modify, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of this Program, in whole or in part.

The creation of the PGF and the other items violates the "modify" part of that clause, and therefore it is breaking the contract and those items are illegal. So this guy is selling illegal stuff over the internet using eBay! He also didn't mention that the items were illegit in the description, so that is partly false advertising.

Should we inform eBay and Sega of this and try to get him nailed for it?

You could probably get the AR for that much and hack it yourself.

you should atleast try to tell Sega and EBay. If they dont listen then we need to try again. Make a petition and get ragol members to sign it. i dont know just throwing out helpful(maybe) information.

I'd definately report him to Sega and Ebay. Seeing that he's selling illegal items, but furthermore, I think it's against Ebay's rules to sell intangible or in-game products. Nail him hard, it sickens me to think that someone can consign hacking a console MMORPG for money. And any person who bids on that item is a great fool to pay for things that could easily, but still illegitimately, be hacked with an AR. This is a disgrace to the game and hopefully the only bid on this ridiculous item was put there by an alternate account of the creator himself.

NOTE: Sorry for the hostilities...but it's a truly dispecable thing to do in my opinion. But to keep the tone of the post...RRRAAAWWWRRR!!!!! :devious:

Ebay is full of scammers, period. But people will buy anything, and coincidentally there's plenty of morons there as well, so there's no shortage of transactions. E-yep, there's nothin' like a visit to Ebay to make you want to disown the rest of your species. ¬_¬
