how to become staff

eh? If you wanted to become staff you're a bit late. We've just had a session of hiring and chosen the people we wanted to be staff. If you would like to contribute to the site you still can. Just send us your stuff .

Like were you invited, did you do something uber that the site saw, blah blah.

In that case. I am became mod/admin because I did guides and stuff first. I think the others became mods because we liked them/forum presence.

~Buddah~, many of the staff members on Ragol.co.uk were chosen by the administrators a while back already, simply because of their contributions and kindness around the community.

Being staff can be fun. I was staff on atother forum a while back (its closed and it kinda sucked) and I felt awesome and powerful...muahahaa....Its so much fun when you get sucked up to.

LOL! Wootem, it's not all about being sucked up to. I've been a staff member at quite a few sites in my time, and it can be quite fun, like this position is. But, in addition, being a staff member can be quite a responsibility.

To Buddah, what Decs said for the most part, most of us newer guys really didn't/haven't contributed yet(As soon as Lee answers my PM I may finally be able to get Kisanzi's and my guide up.) But you need to have been here a while, and be respected to some extent. Try to make friends with everyone, if possible. There will be those you don't like, but don't start a flame war over it. The biggest way, I think, is to help out the mods, or Staff. I used to PM Ria all the time about threads that should have been moved, deleted, because the mods aren't always attentive/here (And I say that with the upmost affection, Ria, Decs, Mr.Shoe, Omar....*list goes on and on*) so it's up to the members of the boards sometimes to make things better for ourselves. And trust me Staff priveledges aren't a sleigh ride. When they say you will contribute, you contribute*Starts listing off the slave labor I've had to perform for my demanding task masters*. The one thing you don't want to do is be making threads like this. Moving up in position on these fourms shouldn't be the reason you're here: you should be here to have fun, meet nice people, and be nice to others. Only in that way will you move up. Take me for example, I didn't think I would get Staff at all, because I didn't think I deserved it, I was only really concerned with helping out........And when PSOWorld went down that time I moved to Gamefaqs, then heard about Ragol from there. I found this to be a MUCH nicer community than either of those. I'm proud to be a member of these fourms. And I must say our mods do a fantastic job of keeping down insults and flaming. Just go take a look at an average thread over at PSOWorld.....*cough*Ian-KunX she's crazy *cough* and I gurantee you there will be at least one case of spamming or flaming in everyone. So just remember it's not about going up in the ladder, none of us wanted that, we were just happy to serve our internet home(Or at least that's what I consider Ragol.) .

Note: Sorry this seems so drawn out and such, but I stayed up all night, and had to take my Adderal this morning to stay awake, so I'll probably be going info/opinion rants all day. Please bear with me. :S

Come again? I've submitted several news reports, updated the poll twice, and updated the Ep. 3 FAQs extensively. But back to the on-topics, the moderators here do an excellent job. I am most pleased to have recently joined the moderational team, as well.
