You cannot play offline at all. It is online only. Your characters are saved on the server side.
The game is free to download, but you must pay monthly (for your Hunter's License) to play online. When you first download the game, they'll let you play for free for either 15 days or until any of your characters reach level 20, whichever one comes first. The above has been true for the already released Japanese and Chinese Blue Burst, so I assume the English version will be no different. Can't wait until June now, eh?

I suppose the amount you pay will be roughly the same as a Hunter's License on GC and XB PSO. All I hope to god is that I can be able to pay them!

I wouldnt be surprised if they just added the Hunters License for Blue Burst onto www.playsega.com's system!
No exact finance details have been set by SEGA of Europe so far!

eh, I cannot play offline? at all? PSO BB is a strict online game, and I am alright with that, even tough I think it's kind of stupid. Any news how it will turn in in US (if there is online?). If anyone can PM me a useful link, I don't want this topic to be off-topic.

The only link i can give you about PSO: BB in the US is SEGA.com
![]() Any version of the game is online only... ONLY! No offline gaming whatsoever, as to reduce cheating within the game, because all saves are made on SEGA's servers, not your computer HDD. From what it seems, the american version will be released much alike the European version, via. download.

Could you make an assumption on the release date for US? I find that releavnt considering UK releases are akin to US.

The U.S. Date is still set as Spring for the meanwhile, so assuming ST are just going to release the same game at two different times (American and English Europe), with the E.U. release set at June i'd say the American game would come out end of May earliest.

Can play the game in Offline mode? No
Must I pay for playing offline? NA Must i pay for download the game? No Must i pay for online? Yes How much will it be? Not confirmed but i would say around 13 dollars or 7/8 pound.
