Namillus Wrote:So what happens when I Drop Pod a Venerable Dreadnought behind your Broadsides and follow it up by Deep Striking my Terminators in? 1 word.... BANG!! you see, those big guns on the broadsides are very powerful as ive already said, and so turn around, blast the venerable dreadnought to hell, and with your other large guns shoot the 7 poopoos out of the terminators. simple- i know venerable dreadnoughts get to re roll, but 9 twin linked, so 7 shots are going to hit, armour is value 12 at the front, so 1 is going to do nothing, 1 glancing hit or whatever theyre called and the rest penetrate. 5 penetrating hits means that statistically you ARE going to get crew stunned, and unless your are very unlucky you will also get wepon and vehicle destroyed, vehicle destryed scatters 6 inches and vehicle destroyed-d6" explosion. also you will probaqbly get vehicle immoblised.so i think weve got rid of that threat and namillus, what about the 'will not teleport rule' that space wolves have? no deep strike for you then....
edit: just saw the drop pod thing, but they may not move or assualt..... looking like your screwed with that venerable dready.. just shoot 2 broadsides from each squad at them because they cant target mutlitple targets (hand that....) and the other at the terminators.... as soon as the venerables gone you have lots of sqauds and lots of guns to spare... nice that..

my eldar (not that i have many) go by the name of eath-kia and are white and black with blue detailing (like the ulthwes bone coloured patterns)

that would look cool, i have a single eldar model somewhere which has black armor and a yellow undersuit and that looks great, so red should too!
and harlequins? they are great models, you never know they might be included in the next incarnation of the codex.

I play Ultramarines, not Space Wolves, so I get to Deep Strike my Termies.
