Experience
#1
I haven't been paying too much attention to this before, but I suddenly started wondering how offline levelling-up worked in this game. After a battle, you gain 15 experience? Is that after any battle, regardless of how many cards is destroyed, etc?

It is 100 experience to level up, every level, yes? And is the amount of experience after a battle the same for free battle mode and single-player story mode? Thanks for any replies.

From what i know, the amount of EXP you gain depends on how you played in the actual battle, so it varies much like the online games. And yes, it is 100 EXP per level.

Offline Story Mode, Offline Free Battle, Online Battles, Online Tournaments, all EXP varies depending on outcome and performance during the match.

I think it depends on how often you've actually played as well. If you COM beat offline, you'll get 10 EXP per match (I don't think EXP is based on how well you've done. The cards are done off that (and meseta?)). But after a while you get 7 EXP. At least that's what's happened to me offline.

Offline, I believe the EXP is dependent on your CLv. The higher level you are, the less EXP you recieve, but you recieve more cards.

However, you receive greater EXP from the more difficult battles such as the Bosses or the Two-on-One fights.

Ok, proved theory and has been tested:

The amount of EXP online or offline depends on YOUR level and the level on the COM. One example to proove this theory, is that a COM's CLv in an online tournament is 7. Notice that as you become a higher level you get less experience.

Also notice in a 2 vs 2 battle the lower level the partner is and the higher level your opponents are (obviously more difficult) will give you more experience.

Oh. Then it does not at all depend on how well you played? I see. How well you played only affects what rank and hence what cards you get. Thanks.

Two more things:
Is there an easy formula for finding out how much experience from a battle?
Offline, how can you find out what level COM is on?

Well to your first question, not exactly. It's basically mental estimation (I think thats what estimation is........oh well!) If you're like Clv 1 offline and you face Pollux, you'll obviously be getting plenty of experience. If you're Clv998 and you face the first battle you'll probobly get little experience.

Rank Calculator

Are you sure that the COM lvl offline works? Since they don't really have levels since they don't need them? I guess that they would all be lvl 1? Seems strange to programme anything other than lvl 1 for a COM and just say if boss +10EXP?

I see what you mean, however. I'm starting to think they're not Clv 1 or any level at all. Notice how when you start over after beating Pollux, you still get 15 Exp? I guess we were both wrong! Tongue
