I have a question: which JP ships/blocks are usually populated by people from this forum? I've usually hung out in Altair and Antares, mostly dead ships, except that I've been to Deneb twice when invited there by people I know elsewhere. Last night something was going down in Deneb though; I was getting messages telling me to stay away from Deneb... sounded like there were hackers about. But anyway, I'm always happy to meet some of you guys... even though I lost my best characters and I have to rebuild them at this point, so I'm only playing normal and hard-level games right now (details in the link in my sig). :ermm:
So far I have seen two FSODers: one was when I was using a friend's account and I wandered into Altair 2-1, where one person threatened FSOD on sight. The other was two days ago, after coming out of a TTF run in Deneb I noticed someone threatening FSOD, and I fled for the lobby-change portal... didn't get the chance to look at who they were though... :ermm:

May I ask if you was dropped on your head at birth, those lobbys are FSOD and hackers central, despite the fact I think your in major need of a MRI scan, you was probably still the most intelligent person on there.
The best thing to do is get people's GC's then you can scan them when you go online and arrange to meet in a lobby that isn't filled with genetic defects from the Primordial Soup.

You shouldn't be so rude, especially considering how many grammatical and spelling errors you just made. =(

There's still a lot of good people left online, the hacking has actually gone downhill a lot. Most of the hacking you see now is people being retarded in deneb 6 thinking it's funny to FSOD.
I always stick to places like altair 10, JP: rigel, and on occasion i may drop into a ship like Regulus or Alphard.

Is this a PSO discussion board or a grammer test, and your grammer ain't exactly Post Grad level anyhow.
And true, Ria, I see your appoint, but I meant it in all light-hearted sense, I only wish people would realise that I take almost nothing seriously, life is a laugh itself, I meant no offence.
Anyhow, I'd think that after like 3 years, enough people would know this, with the ammount of PSO sites there are, as well as reviews and such, and other online friends on the game, everyone would know this.

But disregarding that, you can't expect everyone to know which lobbies are hacker-full. I don't know how many times YOU have been to the US ships in the last week, but Altair and Antares are very quiet, as is most of Deneb and all of Vega - only Deneb 6-4 is the new hacker hotspot. If you hang out in Altair and just make meeting times with people you know on a forum or offline, you're just fine. Case in point: about half an hour ago I was playing with someone who came from Vega; he was the brother of someone who I played with once before, and when I looked up his card I noticed he was in Vega. I called him over to Altair, where he told me he'd been FSOD'ed ten times in the last two days. Whereas I've never been FSOD'ed once.
I've met two FSODers, and I have been to Deneb, but only on invite. Yes, there are FSODers there; the last time I was in Deneb I saw someone threatening FSOD and I ran out of that lobby quickly. As for hackers: I've actually met two hackers so far in Altair, but neither had any interest in causing touble... one played briefly with me and some people from PSOW when I was trying to level up (I didn't know he was a hacker, until he pulled out the Dark Bridge... ). The second one I met last night in Altair 10 (I think Shiek was there at the time; I know Lostthought was). I knew he was a hacker when I was talking about my Red Mechguns, and he offered me a pair. Then he honestly answered they were non-legit, and seemed to understand that I wanted legit items. At any rate, neither seemed interested in FSODing.
EDIT: Whoa, when did I hit 1,000+ posts? *does the 5-posts-late-to-1000 dance*

You can make a mistake or a typo here and there, but writing in proper, coherent English makes your posts much pleasant to read, easier to understand, and we will more likely answer to messages that written in a clear manner.

Yet I'm sure that if someone had talked to you in such a way, you'd be mad.
Don't expect people to share your humour, especially when it's so dubious.
Now back on topic.

I've been thinking of trying to get online, lately... but I'm afraid of how much more of a PSO-junkie I'll become. How hard is it to get the stuff for the GC? I know I'm going to end up online for PSU.. just because I'll have it on PC, and it looks awesome, but if that'll be coming out within the year, should I worry about getting online for PSO ep. 1 and 2? Anybody got any tips for me?

It's not that hard to get a BBA and a KB Adapter on lik-sang, but I doubt it's worth it.
And the release date for PSU in EU and US is February 2006, but I'm sceptical.
