Unreduced specials?

So one nice sunny calm and peaceful day, i decided to venture into the item database looking up random weapons, and I noticed that some just have normal specials but some say unreduced.

What is the dealio with this?

It is not reduced ? :wacko:

Weapons types that hit more than 3 times in a combo, or that hit several targets have reduced specials.
Some have specials divided by 2, some by 3.
They are:
1/2 specials
-Daggers
-Double Sabers
-Paired Swords

1/3 specials
-Swords
-Partisans
-Slicers
-Shots
-Mechguns

That means that a special on a Saber is as good as the same special on a Mechgun.
If you have Drain on a Saber, and that you steal 90 HP from a monster, you will steal 30 HP with a Mechgun, 45 HP with a Dagger.

So weapons with unreduced specials are VERY useful, granted they have a good special.

Two important notes:
-Berserk, Spirit and Charge cannot be reduced.
-All specials on S-Rank weapons are unreduced.

So that explains how that S-Rank with the exp. stealing I have steals 80 with every hit. Tis' unreduced.....

What about Shots? I thought they were reduced to 1/3 too.

Yea, and is it true that androids with the a weapon that has the best exp stealing effect get to steal 30% exp in ult?

The King's series of special Does 20% extra EXP stealing with anDroiDs.

Tekkers charge 100 meseta per weapon tekked, if you are unhappy with your result, you don't have to pay but the weapon will stay with the ??? mark.

I just saw that when I was looking over it.
