My best two characters are Link and Mario.
Link is probably my better character overall( he helped me win second place in a local SSBM turnament) but Mario is a tad more balanced.
whenever I feel like goofing around I play Kirby. He's just a fun guy to play around with. (like constantly inhaling opponents and spitting em' back out.
I'm also experementing with Marth. I've gotten pretty good with his combos, and I can surprise most people with his DownB move.

My favorites depend on who I'm fighting and their skill level, if a person is a beginner and uses a sword guy I can use pikachu and kick the snot out of them, even with less range. But if the person is very skilled with a sword I'm forced into a sword character, I can use Link/Young link & Roy/Marth. Link and Young Link are my favorite sword characters. But overall I love Pikachu I mean how annoying is it when a person is right over you about ready to attack, and then all of sudden they hear the "PIKA!!!!!" and think "ah crap" as a thunderbolt comes down and are electrocuted into oblivion. Its also fun, when your playing in the Hyrule temple with 3 or 4 ppl, and you can sneak down into the lower levels and just spam thunderbolt while they're fighting above you. You can just sit there and laugh while they're so annoyed. Plus for a little guy his smash attacks pack a punch.
The character I hate the most is Falco, his smash attacks are pretty darn strong and yet they are so fast. I mean you dodge roll one side smash attack, and before you have time to move he can get in another it really doesn't seem fair with the speed he can use them at. Plus along with having his speedy smash attacks he has a nice gun, can block all projectile attacks, and has that fire move where you can't attack him during it if your using a physical attack. So I pretty much call Falco a noob character, maybe I'm just jealous, but with all these facts I've compiled I dunno.

Yha i hate pickachu gerrr there so annoying my friend likes to use him GERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR pisses me off...lol but i dont care weather a person is skilled or not ima own them with young link he is small (like me) kicks ass (like me) and i just own with him...lol

Of course Pikachu has his weaknesses, which I can list. #1 while his double jump is good, if you screw up on the second one, well your screwed... Also it really doesn't do any damage like most B Up attacks. #2 When using his smash attacks even with the c stick it takes time to charge it up, giving them time to escape or attack. #3 after using thunderbolt or or the Skull Bash your vulnerable if they dodge it the consequences at times are deadly. If you can take advantage of these it might give you an edge.
And Young Link works well, but watch out for the heavy hitters he's a light character. The disatvantages of Young Link are his weight, the range of his boomerang and fire arrow, and less attack power than link. He also has less range in both the sword and the throw thingy. You wouldn't believe how many times I've come up to a character and tried to the grappling hook and it come up short, It comes out hits the ground in front of the character, while I sit there, "...."

Yha...but the thing about Falco...his attacks are to uh..how do I say this...hmm...un-balanced? such as his jump is to high for effective use...
Fox,however is the most balanced "fast" character...in my opinion

Believe me assassin he can. And Fox is a good char. he may have speed and balance but i still prefer to use falco. Maybe its just me.

I do like falco's lazer because if you throw them off the edge and shoot them, they can't use thier double jump if you do it right...
I have so many cheap ways to kill people...but I prefer not to use them...it doesn't show my true talent...

well i still like young link i dont go for balance or speed or power i like a mix dont get me wrong but i just go with the people who i like lol
