I came to the conclusion that if I only had online, it would be stupid to start a RA-Purplenum, or a HU-Skyly. The reason why is everyone will have the same IDs, no one would have other exeptional IDs such as Oran, Yellowboze, Viridia (one of the the best IDs). I could just go online, enter a Purplenum/Skyly/Pinkal game and get the weapons like that.
Excluding all the major IDs (Skyly/Purplenum/Pinkal/Whitill maybe) for a character, Ranger to be specific, what ID what I have for things such as popular trades and an ID that would satisfy others to play with my ID, as well as my Ranger to enjoy its own ID.

Think about yourself first.
It's no use making a "rare" ID, people will always want to play where the good things are.
Whitill, Purplenum, Skyly, Viridia, cannot go wrong with those 4.

Whitill- Forces, general IDs, smart people
Purplenum- Rangers
Skyly- Hunters
Viridia- Hunters, maybe Rangers
I have a feeling every character/ID I will see will be those (maybe not Viridia and Whitill as much as Skyly or Purplenum). Thus, no one will have other IDs, only the favorede ones which there will be bounteous.

You're mistaken on your ID appreciation =/
It's more like this:
01 -- Whitill (Hunter --> Ranger --> melee Force)
02 -- Purplenum (Ranger --> Force --> Hunter)
03 -- Viridia (Ranger --> Hunter --> melee Force)
03 -- Skyly (mainly Hunters, but has some nifty Ranger and melee Force stuff; lacks armours)
03 -- Redria (Hunter --> melee Force, good for shields and armours)
06 -- Yellowboze (same for all classes, its lack of specificity makes it unreliable at times)
07 -- Greennill (Ranger)
08 -- Oran (Force --> Hunter)
09 -- Bluefull (Hunter --> melee Force --> Ranger)
10 -- Pinkal (Force)

Whitill being for Forces considering there aren't really any good IDs specificly for Forces (the first one who says Pinkal is good...), if you exlude that opinion Hunters all the way. Viridia being for Hunters considering the many Hunter exclusives I saw looking down on the Ultimate charts, haven't double-checked so I may be wrong.

Stick to what I just posted.
Whitill is good for Hunters and Rangers, moreso than for Forces.
Viridia is definitely a Ranger ID since it's the only ID that finds shots easily, among other things.
