I don't see, at all, how these topics are even remotely similar. You were speaking of Internet slang and annoying abbreviations, whereas I am talking about grammar and the incorrect use of it.

Heh, I thought they were sort of similar, however, mine was locked, and you're right, they ARE about different topics, oh well, it WAS old, and locked... :O Well... *points to self* pooned.

now WHY do I need to learn more grammar?
