Doesn't it strike you odd that I was a mod too and in that whole time nobody had debates with me like this? In power there must be compassion otherwise you're merely tyrants. That is my current opinion no those in charge, and my viewpoint should hold some merit to you guys considering I know whats it like to be in your shoes.
Lionheart, I have been a moderator at several different forums, and an administrator at one, in my lifetime. Over these years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge about how you must act in one 'position of power', as it has been called. When Sol mentioned in the rules that, 'mods are your gods' and whatnot, he did not mean that members are governed in an entirety by the moderators. You will not find one forum on this vast Internet, and I challenge you to try, that allows the contradiction and utter defiance of the moderators. Moderators exist in order to guide and help the posters. If every member on one forum was a perfect little angel, would there be a need for forum staff? No. But the fact remains, trouble sparks up; moderation is always required on all forums.
Compassion is a strong aspect of the moderation on these forums, Lionheart. In Kefka's case, I have not posted even once in that specific thread, so I shall keep my mouth shut on the matter. When it boils down to tyranny, what you must understand is that, on occasion, moderators must be a little more strict than you may like. It troubles me that tyranny would even be so much as mentioned on an easy-going forum such as this one. Your opinion, as does everyone's, holds very much merit to the current staff, as all opinions on these forums matter equally.

We have had a crapload of spammers on site lately who have obtained high post counts through wholly irrelevant posts icedragon being one of them his posts should be flat out deleted for the most part but aside from warning hes gone untouched but people who make intelligent but eccentric posts have them editted doesnt seem right at all
I will agree with you here, Kashima. This does not seem right, but please accept my assurance that the staff here at Ragol.co.uk are always working diligently to better ourselves and the community in which we surround.

I don't believe in that......Like I said I'm not even a mod so it can't apply to me. But the unrest was caused by DM's ban.......I sent you the PM. Most of the members see it as unjust. And they are wrong, flaming an Admin for editing the spamming parts of a post is wrong. I don't know that whole situation or what went down, but I know the results. If we let DM back in, which I have suggested several times, then what happens to the next guy that starts flaming the mods and admins over something similar. That is the god complex I spoke of. Order must be maintained to some extent. And yes unrest is building, but allowing DM back in would eventually cause more unrest when any member would go: 'Well what about DM? You let him back in, that isn't fair!" and even if we ignored them, others would see it as unjust and the before mentioned anarchy would break out.
Kashima is totally right on the Icedragon and Jarl part. Jarl got 800 POSTS IN ONE MONTH. And now he rarely visits the site. Icedragon just spams.......(I still can't believe Shade let him into the SC... :/) I judge fairly, I am not a bad person.
The unrest comes from us hiding the 'conspiracy' about DM's banning, when there really is none. Sol thinks if we dropped the subject, it would die out......he was wrong, I even told him as much in a thread on Pioneer1, I suggested/ made a remark about making a huge thread where all questions about such banned members could be answered. That would put put all rumors about us hiding things to rest..........
Something is wrong, you're correct, but it comes from this subject in general........what to do about it is the touchy part......

So you want opinions on staff:
Admins
Sol: couldnt care less rarely ever see him
Lee-Yoshi: One of the best site staff ever
Moderators
Decs: lets us have a great deal of fun
Kefka: fun to annoy , is always right :O
Omar: rarely ever see him :'(
Goldie: dont see him much anymore
DE: does his best for the forums
Ria: only female one, she deserves it she means well
Ivan: been staff for years
mr shoe and serpent: dont actually see them do any moderating
staff members
well they do what they do, I must say to kefka and shadamoo for his contributions, that the database is looking rather 1337 now

i never saw dm flame any of the admins on site well maybe decs occasionally and if he did this is the main reason why posts shouldnt be deleted or editted when trying to punish someone or keep them banned it pays to have proof of what they did that was incriminating to begin with its not that hard to take a screenshot ive seen other staff members do it for blackmail purposes

I still don't agree with DMs banning myself and if he reads this I darn well hope he decides to join IL! But, it is not my decision, and I am not challenging the staff. I accept your judgement and that judgement it seems is a final ruling.

I really didnt like DM, he strutted around like he owned the place, he got too big for his boots, that is why I rarely paid much attention to him

I have no problem with DM, however time after time he acted childish and tempermental. Someone like that has no place among the elite, he needs to concentrate on improving himself before that attitude gets him into trouble.
