Depends what games you like. Personally I bought mine for Ninja Gaiden, which is fantastic. If you can wait, then do so for the XBox 360.

Get an Xbox...because there are MANY games for it that are good....Marrowind..Halo2...and MANY MANY others...trust me

I'd have to agree with most people....Xbox does have alot of great games.....and some not so great........the easiest way to choose between each one is the kinds of games for the different systems.

Gamecube - Tales of Symphonia
- PSO 1&2
- Zelda : Windwaker
- lots of familiar titles
PS2 - Final Fantasy series
- Doesn't have great FPS
- Lots of RPG games to choose from
- Grandtheft Auto - San Andres
Xbox - Halo 2
- PSO 1&2 (probably not as great as gamecube version)
- Morrowind (fun but contains lots of bugs)
- Fable
- has lots of great games....unfortunately....I'm completely bored with all of my current games
- quick note***don't buy any CHEAP games that are under 30 dollars cnd. those games are complete junk (SeaBlade is one such game)

Advice: Sit on your money and pick one of the next gen consoles. Why buy a machine that'll be overtaken by a newer one in a year. I bought Dreamcast when it was dying or might've been when it was dead and I never got to enjoy many of the games. Don't make the same mistake .

I'll have to agree with archer on this because all of the newer games will mostly start coming out on the next gen consoles probably next year and usually there are fewer games that come out for the old consoles. Thats why you should wait until the new consoles come out. Has anyone ever heard of the Nintendo Revolution being able to play Gamecube disks?

nope; however, you did make a valid point. I forgot to say that most likely, Xbox 360 will have the capability to play regular xbox games because of the profits that could be made . I think all the nex gen consoles will have this ability because the companies can make their old games new again on the new machines and the people who havn't played them can enjoy them .
