I got me a rare with the "???" next to its name in a one player mission that I did earlier today and I dont know whether that counts towards points towards the AOL Cup... If so, how do I contribute it towards the team...

I've checked my rare weapons including the one I mentioned in my last post and they are the following:

Heart Rod +3
Panic Rod +2
Draw Pole
Bind Saber

I also got given a bronze badge by the person I was playing alongside; CombatGirl which should come in handy as well as a 4slot cross armor!

Let me know if these rares are worth contributing to the cause...

well they aren really "rares". Rares come in Red boxes on the ground and are Written in all caps. what you got there are some Special Ability Weapons. they can be useful but with those i would just sell them.

BTW, what do I do with the bronze badge that I got...

ok you trade them to the man next to the bank
3 bronze=1 silver
3 silver=1 gold
3 gold=bronze sheild*
3 gold+bronze sheild=silver sheild*
3 gold and silver sheild=gold sheild*
then you go and give the gold sheild to someone on the solo quest Aol cup. Thats th limit of my knoweldge of the badges, anyone else have anything i forgot?

But to answer the question about the badges and sheilds, NO, they are not physical sheilds but rather fancy names for better badges. And in the Famitsu cup you traded a certain number of gold badges across for rares such as the Samba Maracas and Chameleon Scythe. But I'm not sure if the prizes are the same for the AOL cup.
