generally with the ascii keyboards typing is slower because the keys are so small. also if your gonna be renting a cable modem and if your gamecube is close enough to the computer the cable that comes with the modem should reach

But if you type properly with the ends of your fingers at an angle, you will not have this problem, the buttons on my mobile phones are smaller than on the ASCII/SAMMY and I'm able to use it with no problems, the problem with the C*apperBoard is that it's seperate from the pad, so wherever you put it, you still have to direct your eyes to a 3rd location, to see what your typing, (that and they don't last as long as ASCII/SAMMY).

if you've memorized the keys theres no need to glance at the keyboard

Oh, so the modem comes with a cable? That's good..... that's good.....
You still need to know where you put the HackerBoard in order to be able to use it though.... Well thanks for the help on that..... Maybe I'll just really get some good preset messages, and learn the word select.

We'll buy the modem when we sign up for DSL. Even if the cables aren't that expensive, I want to save the money (can be used for another month online

).
Today, I went to "Bowl America" to sign up for a job.... I have prior jobs, and good stuff like that, so I'll probably get it.... then I'll get about $6.50/hour.... nice.... if I don't get the job, I also applied at a Subway.

But you still need to see where on the floor you put the thing.
