More and more recently it seems that video games are leaning to male type entertainment. The female characters seem to be beginning to dress a little less and less with each game. i dont think the game industries realize that more female gamers are coming into the game world and they dont appreciate that kind of material.Female characters dont have to dress like sluts for the game to be good. Anyway what are your opinions on female game characters.

At any rate, yes I know what you mean. I was just reading an article the other day stating an important and interesting fact that the vast majority of developers overlook. That is, women feel objectified and repelled from gaming when it has so many woman characters that are dressed in a manner that is obviously purely for male entertainment. So, if developers started to think smart about the games they were creating, they would cut down on this type of thing. The result? More gamers, as women would also be taking part in the gaming industry more often.
No I'm not gay either, most obviously. Honestly, I LOVE IT! But that's not the point.

At least Nintendo doesn't market games that can be offensive by portraying female characters as playthings (i.e. hookers in GTA, girls in bikinis in various games.)

here to get a better idea about how women feel about this topic, imagine the game world was populated with female dominant players. what if all the women dressed appropiately and the men dressed like porn stars :S . how would you react to this?
