Ultra-mega hacked! I even remember reading a thread concerning hacked items on GF. Needless to say one of the things it said was "Any units with the name of an enemy is 100% hacked".

No actually from what i remember it boosts your ATA by loads and reduces your ATP so much you can do only 0 damage. If anyone knows what recoboxing is...
Basically an illigit player would get a turbo controller, go onto seabed, get a recobox to run out of recons and then they would leave their character repeatedly using kings function mechs to gain loads of experience overnight whilst they were away.
The al rappy unit boost accuracy so much that you always get experience and the lack of ATP means that your character will not destroy the source of constant exp.
This method has fallen out of use due to many AR level up codes, I will not tell you how to get an Al rappy unit or how to hack one, it is against my way of playing and the rules.

Wow... that's one of the cheapest things I've ever heard of. Darn hacked items, they lead to cheating in their own way.

I should've said MASS cheating. Sometimes they aren't so bad, but then people get tempted for more... MORE... causing a new Mass Cheater/Duper/Hacker and all those other good titles. If I ever see an AR I may have the urge to smash it to bits... or take it for the sake of backing up my characters to protect them from FSOD.
