Because the monsters were freindly at first, but the explosion changed them into nasty monsters, but didn't kill them.

The monsters were still underground so the blast was minimised to just abnormal photon radiation. The poeple on the surface, were all torn to the pieces from the blast.

I guess monsters r resistent to radioactive stuff.

Just "abnormal photon radiation"? Just? Eh?

Anyway, why does nobody else on Pioneer 2 go to the shops or the check room or the hunter's guild or the infirmary EVER? (On offline mode, obviously)
