I'm making sure that I can put 4 characters on 1 memory card and not have my data corrupt like my friend's did. He had 4 characters on 1 memory card, when 1 leveled up past 50 his data automatically corrupted and he lost everything. Rare MAGs, Powerful weapons, over 150 hours of work. I'm asking what exactly can make the PSO data corrupt and if it's ok to have 4 high level characters on 1 memory card. I don't want to lose the 200 hours I put into my Hunter, I already had to restart once for fear of corrupted data.

it was probably just a bad memory card. having 4 chars on a card doesnt corrupt you

A bad card is one made by an off brand that has not gotten the official Nintendo seal of approval. Like if you use an M.C. mem card that costs like five bucks then yeah, your screwed.

Making stupid moves is what corrupts you offline. Such as the classic switching off the power when it says not to.

so i have a m.c. memory card. my chacter is currently lvl 42 and i have 4 characters. should i be worried?

im happy getting 4 characters on one mem card and lvling one to 50 dont corrupt you.
Id be screwd otherwise-main mem card

well if you are careful and not do anything stupid while it is saving you will probaly be safe. Its always better to get a Officail card though becasue its usally more reliable.

Also, at the most only have PSO1&2&3 on one card at once. Do not mess around with the data and fragment it, because you cannot defreag mem cards. Keep it tidy, so the game can see what the heck it is doing.

Well im not going to take any chances. my humar is very close to lvl 50, so ill just lvl up my weak characters. :|
