Well, I know, title sucks. Gimme some credit I just woke up. :ermm: :tired:
I've noticed a lotta people coming back to the forums over time, but it never really seems like they're really in the present. You know...those people who you talk to, but they don't respond so's you have to poke them a bit.
From anyone who happens to stop by, I was wondering what you thought about that. Do we miss them, or are they just people who you want to go away so you can get back to your normal(ragol.co.uk/forums) life?
Or, whatever the name is now. :S ...as long as the definiton of "the void" hasn't changed while I was gone, this'll stay up long enough to get about...what, six replies?

What's better than to get a report on the missing from one who just came back from being so? J/K. But I think that people feel that when people stick around here for a while then certain connections and pleasantries are formed. But when a person keeps having prolonged absences or is just gone too much then others lose that connection and need time to "catch up" before re-accepting the fact that someone they used to see around so much is actually back. It's not that people don't want them around, it's just that it's hard to keep trying to form a thin bond by talking to someone when you're not sure if they'll even be back for weeks.
I don't know about everyone else, but that's how I feel when I see someone come back from months of absence. I guess I'm just hesitant to give my full attention/compassion to someone if I'm not sure how long it will be until they get back. But I feel that it's always great to see old faces come back and join the conversations, no matter how long they stay. Just my thoughts on the subject...

To put what I said simple: It's hard to re-accept someone to the forums if they don't plan on sticking around for more than a week or so. But regardless it's always nice to have people come back. Hopefully more people do, but whether it's for a day or a year everyone should know that there's never any point where I personally wouldn't want anyone around here.

Well, its good to know that nobody(so far as people have replied) has harsh feelings towards people coming back from...whatever they left for.
Another problem with coming back is that you miss out on so many things...specifically some groups that have been formed since I left. Yeah, see I don't know about the shadow council, or the inferno legion. Correct me if I mis-...pronounced or read(?) any of those.

'Lo Issac. People can come and go as they please! It's not a dictatorship! But... when someone comes back wh's been a member longer than I have, it's quite nice to see them, as it reminds me of the time when Ragol had about 400 members, of which say... 30 were active. ^^
