This AMAZINGLY confusing, but also amazingly great looking Capcom game comes out tommorrow (FINALLY AFTER YEARS OF WAITING!) and i was wondering who else is getting this?

I'm pretty amazed no-one else has made any threads on this game recently because i was really expecting a lot of people to be looking forward to this cel shaded adult-fest of swearing, blood, and sex type game genre!

http://www.capcom-europe.com theres a page on there with some bits on it. Basically its about this bloke (Harman Smith - In a wheelchair!) who also has several other personalities you can take the form of on. You go around killing this group called the angels or something like that (Been a while since i read something about it lol), and you blow them to pieces to collect their blood which you can use as currency to trade.

The funniest thing is though that you gotta shoot the merchant for him to stick his middle finger up at you and then offer you items for sale XD

Lol, I saw the thread title and thought it was a joke at my expense. Sounds absolutely delightful... Funny, as all the little kiddies who own GC's will go out and buy this thinking it's like Mario Party... ^^

Check out GameSpot.com's Review for Killer7. It received a mere 8.3, which is still good but..

I've been rather unsure about this game, it looks very cool and sweet. It's been out here for longer if I'm not mistaken, by the way, but that must be obvious. The game looks VERY unique and sweet, so perhaps I will consider it.

I had my eye on this game back when it was announced as a Gamecube exclusive along with Viewtiful Joe and Resident Evil (but PS2 has again stolen the title away as well). But I'm not sure now that it's come out. I've heard the graphics and story are awesome but the gameplay is simple and the game is pretty short. o_o So I'm not sure what to say. Plus no one has even expressed interest in it at the store I work at, except me. So I think I'll hold out on it for now, but if you pick it up be sure to post what you thought.

I'm sure I've spoken to you about it before Lee... though I can't quite remember...

Anyway, I should be getting this tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to it!

Well after playing it... it's very... umm... different! Crazy storyline, which i think ive understood more of now as im on the second level and getting used to the limited controls (You dont walk around at your own expense, you walk in one line and then choose which direction to go, using A to move!). Something about the UN and Japan and lots of missiles blowing up in the air to celebrate the end of terrorism when the UN meeting gets blown up by a Angel Smile. Now im at this resturant and just get killed constantly by enemies jumping out at me from no-where.

However when i say its very different, theres no health bar, you get one gun, unlimited ammo, and so forth. You have to collect blood from the enemies to powerup your characters and weapon shots. Theres also PLENTY of uneccessary bad language!

Its a great game dont get me wrong, just takes a while to get into. Not the game you want to play form hours on end though, just short bursts off i find.

Perhaps I will get it as a rental, judging partially by Lee's comments, I'm not sure if it's the game for me. Renting it once or twice might be the right way to go for yours truly.
