Be careful of the people you play with online.

Sometimes, not all the time, you may run into people online that seem nice. Then you go and get a game started up. Then when a rare item drops, people turn into savages. Neglecting all other charcters who may be getting plummeled just be greedy and make sure they get the rare. It's only a game is what I am trying to say. People get all worked up over nothing. Personally when I play I don't act like one of these savages. Rares aren't a big deal to me, if I find one, I just find one. When I pick up a rare, I have the courtesy to let everyone else know what I have. Other players shouldn't have to ask what rare item just dropped. Some people even have the nerve to pretend like a rare never dropped by picking it up and going about their business.The majority of the time, I let someone else have my rare even if it was a rare I never had before[I always find my best rares while soloing anyway].Of course if it were an uber rare, I wouldn't give it away, at least not for free. I just wonder why can't everyone at least try to be more considerate of others.

yes, it all makes for a better and more pleasant experience
i remember the "mil lily rushes". everyone charges the mil lily and subsequently die by a number of forgotten ob lilies all because they wanted the rare
always state what rare you picked up, somebody could have been searching for that for a long time, and on that note, tell people what you are searching for aswell.

Its what im saying man, they could atleast tell you what it is. If there is only like 2 or 3 poeple in a room and we are all differnet classes i useally let the force have the force weapon and the ranger have the ranger weapon etc.

I find it best just to call what weapon/item you want before actually playing through a level/quest. Saves a whole lot of 'savagery' i find.

Yes Buddah, this would be the most logical thing to do [especially when there is 1 of each class], unfortunately people have other classes too, and still will only think of themselves grabbing a force rare with their hunter instead of asking the force if they wanted it first.

And to Arrogantelf, yes people call their rares before going into games. Unfortunately, not everyone knows what drops on that specific id, because they may only know what drops with their id. So yes this both work and doesn't work.
