i need soem help.. excalibur

ok ive been playing for a long time, after about a billion fights of sant million/korindu i finally got my lame d'argant, but im curious on how to turn it into excalibur, on the page it says 10,000 monster kills, now can anyone give me any additional information? is there a time limit? monster limit? can i unequip it for a minute then equip it again? does it have to be 10k monsters while using it and cant be removed? does it have to be used on exactly the 10,000th monster? is it the 10,000th monster total from when you begun the game? i need as much information as you can give me, thanks.

I saw you in an EXCALIBUR game a few hours ago, your name was flashing (like v2 items on DC) and stuff.

On GC, for unsealing SJS, the only thing you should not do is drop the weapon before banking it, not sure on BB, safer to always bank the weapon before doing anything unusual, I guess.

wasnt me, and technically im posting for a friend, if it were me id probbaly just make the excalibur.. but i am very curious about it now. what if you use zonde ot kill a monster while its equipped? does that count as a kill towards unsealing it to excalibur?

Check out all of this nifty Excaliber Unsealing i posted in the Silly Snaps thread. Looks like a super sweet weapon and i wouldnt blame anyone else for wanting to get one! lol

Earlier in one of my games that was quickly ambushed by 3 random people, they came down to me and told me they were unsealing an Excaliber! Very classy indeed and a very special event, so of course i took snapshots They're not really silly, but still worthy of a good post! There's also aparently gonna be a video of it put onto the official PSO: BB boards shortly if not already should you really want to see it in action!

Oh and to answer your question, i think you've got to kill it with the excaliber, not kill while its equipped with some other methods. Not 100% sure on that though.

The kills must be from the blade itself, techniques do not count.

Also, you must give the finishing blow, if someone else gets it, that won't count either.

but can it be unequipped at all? and does it have to be used on the exact 10,000th kill or can it be the 10,001?

since you can bank it, you can unequip it, and it is 10000+, so any time after 10000 kills is fine.

so lets say i have 9,999 kills with it, i bank it for a day, take it out the next, and kill 1 monster, id be able to turn it into exalibur? the kill count wont reset?
