Hey,
I'm nearly online (hurray!)
But I was wondering, because I am going online with an Network Card and not an Ethernet Modem, what would I put in all the options, cos I don't know my IP address or DNS or anything like that. If I need them, how do I find them?

It should be ok on Automatic. To find out this information
1) Goto START, then RUN
2) Type "winipcfg" (without quotes)
3) Click MORE INFO
4) From the drop-down menu, find the adapter you use to connect to the net, it should be pretty obvious.
If you are using ICS then you need some different information...

If you are using ICS, it is a lot easier I think in theory.
For the
IP address put 192.168.0.2
subnet mask put 255.255.255.0
router put 192.168.0.1
primary DNS server put 192.168.0.1
This is if your ICS is set up as the default settings. You can check the IP of your network card by using the method I first mentioned. Be warned though, ICS can be unreliable. If you are absolutley 100% certain you have the right cables, configurations etc and it still doesn't work, keep restarting your PC. I have to restart mine once ot twice before it works. Sometimes it can take longer. Just be certain you are using the right cable. I forgot which one it should be...
