this year as well, i officially want to express my honest condolences to all the victims, who died or are still dying because of the atomic bombardement in hiroshima.

Yes it was indeed a grave act which we should learn from more now than ever with the way the current affairs are globally.

I think the lessons we should have learnt from Hiroshima and Nagasaki is not that we should never use atomic bombs again, it's that we should not take any arms up against others.

I remember reading the book "Hiroshima", it had a bunch of stories of survivors. May all the victims rest in peace.

Well, Japan had attempted to send a message through the neutral Russians that they were prepared to surrender. This was before the bombs were dropped, but the Russians, wanting their own piece of the Japanese Empire pie, blocked the message.
