Gun
#1
I was just reading about it in a magazine and although it's not usually my thing, it looks pretty cool.

It's set in the wild west, and can use guns, melee weapons and bow and arrows, and you can fight on horseback (like Zelda, w00t!) but your horse can die (which makes it more realistic), which is really bad if you're in the middle of nowhere because you'll have to walk to the next town.

Anyway, does anyone else think they might get it?

Yea this is the first i've heard about it! I thought the topic name meant you were gonna start a topic about those light gun accessories ^_^ How silly i look now! Sad

Sounds fairly interesting. Who's the developer?

You foolish boy! Tongue

And I can't give a link, it's in a magazine. *flicks through pages* The delevoper is Neversoft, and the publisher is Activision. It's for one player and it's due to be out here October '5, in the US September '05, and TBA in Japan. Anything else you wanna know? And no, I'm not copying the whole prevew out. It's three pages long. Tongue

Well OMG! It's actually in the current NOM magazine, i just havent read it since ive got it. LMAO!

So its basically a Wild Western GTA game? Horsebaack riding through towns, gun fights, and all that other wild west stuff... doesnt sound that bad ^_^

Well, considering this'll only be the second Wild West-type game released for the next gen systems, it better be good if they want to expand on it! ^_^
However, if this looks like it'll be a standalone game, i wouldn't expect too much in the way of gameplay. It sounds like it's emphasis is going to be on the setting, not the playability.

Meh. And apparently they're trying to make it as little like GTA as they can. Oh yeah, one more thing. I would have got NOM if it was there. Damn shortage on Nintendo-themed magazines. Angry

Well the graphics look a bit shady aswell as some of the gameplay, but its not a completed game yet so you can't judge it just yet, still sounds good though.

Oh by the way i'm saying this because IGN have a trailer you can download! Click Here (Footage from the PS2 Version).
