i played PSO back on DC, loved it, but my DC broke and SO NEEDLESS TO SAY, i stopped playin for a while, but i bought a GC and PSO bout 3 weeks- a month ago, and now im lvl 81 in ultimate mines. my current weapon is yamato+60 not that great, but it gets the job done. also recently started a force and am still only lvl 22, but not for long using mahu and mace of adaman

i haven't used a cane of any kind with my guy since my duder was at level 13 or so. as of the last few weeks, all i've been using are sabers-pallasch (pallasch is what i'm using right now).
why do you use canes? i'm curious if i shouldn't pick up the highest cane type weapon that i can get at my current level and see if it's not better. aren't they a bit slow to use?

trust me he has weapons u can only dream of having ^.^

he has tonz i even had to create a 2nd file just to hold his rares >.<

I can see why your Fonewearl won't be that low of a level for long if you're using one of them.

yep =p only usin teh mag till i get to VH. so i can get some good drops.. then i will stop using it....(using it drops rare drop rate to 0) using it has a price..... which is why im gona stop..

I don't like the character very much, I've had it for about 4 days anyway so I'm thinking of making a new one (probably Andriod since magic doesn't seem to be very effective in the higher levels of the games.)

he is the 1 that has found most of my best rares.
only awesome rare i have that he didnt find was my SJS wich was found

EDIT: o and Magic is very useful in Ultimate and harder difficulties you just need to know the weaknesses of the monsters ^.^

exactly. aside from grants, what's falz's weakness when he goes into that crazy light formation in hard?
i just end up using grants every time, which i imagine is the best option anyway. sadly, i brought all my meseta into that fight and didn't know it. either that, or i laughed at a guy last week for a glitch that hit me too. eh.

anyway, my fomar is up to level 51 now and is using a db's saber. for some reason, my stinkin mag won't gain the third photon blast (stuck in a cheesy blue fish mode), which i think is costing me. so i'm levelling up another character (a hunter chick android, don't remember their actual names) and feeding her mag. if it gets good, i'll switch it over to my character.
i still consider my fomar my favorite (as i've pretty much got the baddies' magic weaknesses committed to memory) and best, but i still need better melee weapons for the cases where i just plum get sick of using magic.
although, that other character i made is keeping me sated for now. talk about a total opposite of the fomar i'm used to. nonetheless, fun.

It's Foie, as has already been said, and it's alot more effective (especially with the TP cost and casting times).

You have a Naga, it learns Mylla&Youlla. You probably already got that move at level 35 from Namuci, and you can't re-learn a photon blast. So just hand the mag off to a different class and/or ID character the next time the mag hits a level ending in 5 or 0. Then when you feed it, it'll evolve again, and probably learn another PB (unless you already learned that mag's too).

Hucaseal; and they need very different mag stats, so I wouldn't suggest giving your Fomar a Hucaseal mag.

nonetheless, fun.

Now, my main character for playing is Link. A Yellowboze Fomar that's Clvonline 1 and Clvoffline 37. He currently has about 80 hours, and his favorite card is the Chaos Sorcerer (especially when used with Gizonde on one of those #!&% Heroside characters).
