I know I said I left this site, but someone told me bout this thread and I had to post.
I once thought like you did, that I ALONE, could stop hacking. But I went unlegit, and POOF! I realized that no one will stop hacking, because people will always do it no matter what you try.
Read Hackers, A definition, by Anti-Hacker. You will probly never make a thread as pointless and dumb as this again.
People's legitness is there own buisness, and you will never be able to change that. And as for FSOD, it's pointless, and you can easily avoid losing stuff by not carrying stuff into lobbies.

I'm as legit as they come, but my online appearances have become more and more rare. Stupid 102 errors! I'd hate to do something unlegit, I want the pride of knowing I found something myself.

Although on the topic of hackers... back before I found my online friends I played once and there was an AR user who could kill anything in one hit... this allowed my HUnewearl to complete TTF at level 82 but I couldn't help but laugh because the code also made him die in one hit

Im proud to be 100% legit to, but I also think we could do somthing to at least get back at hackers! (also as a note, I'd like to point out that some hackers, my freind, use there hacking skills to get back at other hackers. They also have plain legit quests!).

i never claimed to be 100% legit, if you read my post... and theres alot worse things than having a 1305 mag n a dark flow.... such as using AR codes or FSODing. So dont get ur panties in a bunch.

LOL you have a hacker friend and yet you still seem to be so 100% against anything.. i find that hard to believe.... and (sarcasm) i guess its ok to hack if your getting back at other hackers(end of sarcasm)(i also find it hard to believe that ur friend knows how to hack and only hacks to get back at other hackers)?! LOL hacking is hacking buddy... by ur friend hacking hes not "getting back" at anyone.... hes just adding to all the hacking that goes on.. and also .. what exactly can a hacker do to "get back at other hackers" specifically?

As I've said to many people online, I'm too lazy to Hack or Cheat! I had an AR once, for the purpose of using Anti-FSOD programs, then my son left the disc on his bedroom floor....

My wife, Redhead, is also legit. My son, when he was allowed online with my or his mums HL, was a terrible cheat. His actions got my HL suspended for 24 hours and his characters have corrupted several times! He still goes online sadly, with my nephews HL, and can regularly be seen in dubious sounding rooms like "Dupe 4 u" etc. I dunno, it just sounds like the dubious USA AOL chatrooms that people could create!

I'm not too bothered about people who hack or cheat for harmless fun, so long as they are honest with me about it. I've adventured with illegits who have hacked weapons and MAGs, I even like the Sonic The Hedgehig hack that someone was using in Episode 3. But I only accept gear from a very select few people who are screamingly legit. I've had some very nice players from Japan drop the 9 star rares that we all keep tripping over, but I still wont pick them up.

The worst illegits will be so uber powered that you never get any exp, one of the reasons why I normally enter "Legits Only" rooms to try and avoid them if none of my Buddy List is online. FSODers and their like are just annoying, I sure hope they have all got bored and gone onto other games.

This isn't really a pointless thread. It gives people a chance to be honest with other players. So far I'd adventure with everyone who posted on this thread, although I might ask the illegits to leave or leave their adventure if I feel like being uber legit!


You uber legit guys need to stop fighting with the average illegit players. It's so much better to just ask them to leave your game or you leave their game. You don't need to lecture them or start a flaming war... you're here to play a game and enjoy it. The only illegits that are worth abusing are those who maliciously try to damage your data or internet connections.

I like being legit, it makes every Rare find seem exciting. If I used AR I could have any item I wanted, any level I wanted, but I'd have no reason to play the game then. I remember using the infinite HP cheat on Resident Evil, after about an hour of playing I had to turn the game off because, for me, the challenge was gone.
