Sucky single player.

that sucks that they arent sticking with the original PSO style single player. Thats one of the things that made PSO so awesome. you didnt have to pay and go online to work up your made character, nor did you have to to play with multiple people(GC version anyway) this disappoints me and i dont think im gonna buy PSU. When i want a game with a good story, ill stick with the final fantasy games. ST dissapoints me once more

Heh, yea i doubt that your progress in the offline story mode will be carried over into the online gameplay as its two completely different strands of the game. Itll still be a great game though, you dont HAVE to play it online. Who knows it could even be free online! *Cough*

I never really thought of it like that, since I know I'm going to be playing online. It would probably be smart of Sega to have a non-P2P PSO-offline style mode, but we don't know how online mode is anyways, so it's hard to say if that would even work.
