Kisanzi Wrote:I just recently got back from an another anime convention last week and I had finished some new cosplay costumes. I wore my Wizard (Angelic Layer) costume again but this time I also had my Migeira (Samurai Deeper Kyo) costume done as well. I had alot of fun but the huge gun on the one costume really was a pain to carry around for hours on end...heavy stuff...Oh! And yes my eyes are red and blue with the one costume...fun contacts.
But anyway tell me what you think if you're interested!
o.O Tell me where you got those red contacts! I need them for my next costume.
Wish I could afford contacts I could see through but they will probally cost more with red tint in them.
Oh, love the first costume!

Very nice

The Samurai Keeper Kyo costume looks like something Eminem would wear in his next music video ^_^;
Will we get to see pics of you in your costume, Ria?

Well I got mine at local costume shop for about $80 and let me say that it's alot cheaper to try and find them in a store somewhere. On the internet I've seen colored contacts range from $100 - $140 dollars! If you have a perscription and already wear contacts you can actually go to your optomitrist and ask about ordering some for cheaper. If you have a perscrition you can also order a pair online from a few websites for around $50 a pair. If your getting red make sure to get the right hue of red because some of the vampire red contacts out there are so deep red that you can tell, forunately mine were a brighter set so the red came through alot better.
Glad you all like 'em!

*choke* That's alot. Unfortunatly I stopped wearing one 3 months ago because they were too much hassle. I'll sort something out.

Not for a while. My neighbour didn't finish my costume, I got really annoyed and didn't speak to him for weeks.
My next costume is being made for £32 at a balerina/dance shop. Cheap huh?! Once that's done I could show you all but I still need:
+ A wig
+ Red contacts
+ Black gloves

Yay! another cosplayer ^-^ You did a great job. I am currently working on a RAcaseal costume, but have made many, many costumes in my day. I have cosplayed Kasumi from DOA2, Sakura, Kin, and Temari from Naruto, Kaolla Su from Love Hina, Yuna from FFX, Sakura from Card Captor Sakura, Ra~bi~en Rose from Di Gi Charat, and a bunch others...way too many to type xD.
My next con won't be till next August really. I'm planning on having my RAcaseal for then, and also I don't know how many Warhammer 40k fans there are here, but I'm making a Sisters of Battle costume. I'm making a vacuume forming table so I can make actual armor pieces to attatch to the costume, made out of plastic. It's going to take a lot of work, but it'll be worth it since it should be uber accurate!
