Spartan: Total... Genius!

Came out yesterday, got it yesterday, finally got around to playing it today, and i never wanted to stop! This game is AMAZING! I have to know if anyone else has played it/what you think of it?

If you don't know wtf i'm on about, Spartan: Total Warrior (What it's really called! lol) is set back in the roman days where you go to war with the romans and then take out seemingly everything around them too! You play a Spartan destined by the God (Ares) to have special abilities which no others have, and man is he right!

I'd say however this game is more like Dynasty Warriors, except BETTER! If you like killing endless hordes of enemies, then this is the game for you! There's more enemies on the screen at any one time then any other game ever made and it's total madness, but so good!

BTW I would have posted this in the Gamecube section since this is what console i got it for but it's out for PlayStation2 & Xbox too, so i'll let it live here ^_^

My brother got it today and he says it's cool. He also said it's better than Dynasty Warriors. No multiplayer though...

Yea its a shame there's no multiplayer, doesn't affect me atm though anyways. Besides, you can't help but wonder if they'd bothered with multiplayer, the single player would have suffered big time! And so far, the single player truely is the business!

I saw this on G4TV a couple days ago, and I have to say the game looks amazing. Hopefully I'll get it soon

I suppose, but it's amazing how much better a game can be if the just throw in some kind of co-op mode. I bet it wouldn't have taken much extra effort either.

Maybe they kept it back so it's something to look forward to in a new spartan game? Oooh, next-gen spartan would be amazing! Think of how many enemies there would be on the screen at any one time then! OMG! *Drools*

The game you describe sounds like that game God Of War for the PS2.

I always knew that the Total War games had been rated highly by stratergy buffs, but I was a little adamant about Total Warrior. It sounded a little bit like LotR The Two Towers, a game I got bored of very quickly, but reviews and players feedback seems to be quite positive. I guess I'll give it a try once I've got the cash spare.
