Mag help
#1
right now with my RAmarl thats a Purplenum, im trying to make the mag Rukmin. and it says on the website that i have to have its stats.. DEF + MIND = POW + DEX...what does this mean?>
#2
that MIND+DEF must equal POW+DEX.
so at lvl 100 you could have a
5 def
45 mind
30 Pow
20 Dex
since that makes that math sentance true(lol math)
Look For FaboCraven in PSOBB, i need friends Smile

At level 100, your mag will have to have DEF + MIND = 50 and POW + DEX = 50. So you could theoretically have 10/30/20/40 and make a Rukmin at 100. Unfortunately, since most non-force mags shouldn't have much DEF or MIND, you would be better off making a dummy character with the IDs that can use the DEF + DEX = POW + MIND equation.

Here's an example of what you can do:
1. Make a mag with 10/50/40/0... or 10/40/40/10 or 20/30/30/20... whatever makes DEF + DEX equal to POW + MIND.
2. Right before you hit the last levelup to make that equation, stop feeding the mag.
3. Create a dummy character. Doesn't matter what name, just so long as it's a female ranger (RAmarl or RAcaseal) with the IDs Viridia, Bluefull, Redria, or Whitill.
4. Start an offline multi game with your RAmarl and your dummy character.
5. Drop the mag to the dummy character, pick it up, and wait for it to get hungry. Have the dummy character feed it that last dimate, difluid, antidote, whatever it is... to get to 100. If you did the stats correctly, your mag should become a Rukmin.

Have fun... I personally like Rukmin quite a bit. My own RAmarl has one. Big Grin

i screwed up big time then... lol

my mags stats right now are 15/13/13/13

i thought the mag had to have 25/25/25/25 to make Rukmin..

and another question... since it says rare episode 2 mag.. does that mean i have to raise that mag in ep.2?
#5
No, it doesn't matter per se. 25-all stats are a surefire way to make a rare mag, but their stats don't allow much room for specialization in one area later on. Anyway, you can still do that mag fine. You can try 20/30/30/20 with the plan I mentioned in my last post.

They were just given that name because they came out in the same version of PSO that EP2 was first in. You can be in any level (or on Pioneer2) when you feed them, and it won't affect it. It's only dependent on the stats, character type holding it, and character's ID. That name misleads alot of people.
Too legit to quit.

ok i have another question...
my friend gave me this thing for my mag.. its called Panther's Spirit. It says "An evolutionary unit for Mags that have met certain Preconditions"

what does it mean by "Preconditions"?
darkinfinite (Skyly HUmar, lvl 86 Ult. Mines)
Sheena (Redria FOnewearl, lvl 20 Normal Ruins)
Kaede (Purplenum RAmarl, lvl 64 Ultimate Caves)
Blaze (Purplenum RAcaseal, lvl 5 Normal Forest)
Fire (Viridia FOmar, lvl 3 Normal Forest)
Ice (Bluefull HUnewearl, lvl 2 Normal Forest)
Rukmin (Viridia RAcast, lvl 3 Normal Forest)
#10
Where did he get that? Are you sure it's legit?

You use it on a mag with certain requirements. They can be found in a guide on this site, I think.
